I am a Puerto Rican woman and currently reside in Dallas, TX, with my family. From a young age, art has been a passion and a way of expressing myself. I am self-taught, except for one college drawing course.
Something I miss about being in Puerto Rico is all the colors. Every corner of the island is filled with art, colors, statues, or sculptures. Even the hills are carved with art resembling that local town's history. I believe my heritage is best showcased in my political and floral pieces. All those pieces have a warm folk feeling and give me a sense of the art I grew up seeing during our long summer trips.
My primary medium is acrylic on birch panels, but I enjoy watercolors.
During this season, I am pursuing a black and white acrylic collection. I have grown with each acrylic piece and believe it will be my best work yet.
I am a member of the Bee Cave Arts Foundation and enjoy working within my art community.
My work has been showcased at aloft Hotels, SXSW, and Curate Local shows.
My acrylic work is showcased at
